Differences
& availability:
All
products in the Oa Hera Art cc range are hand made, several units of the
same type (having the same reference) can therefore slightly differ.
Whenever a product ordered by a customer is unavailable, the customer
will be advised by Oa Hera Art cc representatives, a similar product
will be suggested or the missing product will be deducted from the
order.
Any
assortment of products requested or accepted by the customer will not be
refunded or taken back if the customer is not satisfied with the
products upon delivery, the customer is sole responsible for choosing
assortments, no claim will be accepted on this matter as in most cases
the assortment option is a service offered by Oa Hera Art cc.
Many
items are rare or unique, those which are displayed on the website are
immediately available, the exact number of units of a certain item is
enclosed with the rates which are sent upon request. Due to
unpredictable supplies & continual changing products on display,
orders of items which are not immediately available are difficult, but
management will try the best to satisfy any customer request for certain
products.
Payment:
Transactions
can be settled in any major internationally recognized currency, rates
can be requested and payment indicated in any such currency from Oa Hera
Art management at an initial stage.
Once
an order is completed the products are left with the freight company Oa
Hera Art cc works with, they establish a detailed shipping rate which is
sent to the client and hold the shipment until payment for goods &
transport has been received. Payment is to be made by wire or bank
transfer.
Rates:
The
price of each product is based on C.I.F. (Cost, Insurance, freight),
this includes purchase price, packing, travel documents, transport from
Africa exit point to destination country entry point (agreed beforehand
by both parties), and insurance for the same transport leg. Customer
must then clear shipment with customs, and arrange delivery to his/her
address. All costs incurred in destination country such as clearance,
storage, taxes, transport or other to be covered by the customer.
Important:
The customer can make any claim for damaged products ONLY on the
date of taking delivery of the goods at the entry point of the
destination country, as any claim established at a later stage
would be unable to state exactly at which point the goods could have
been damaged and could not involve the transporters responsibility. |
Minimal
order:
Oa
Hera Art cc is specialized in export of exclusive southern African art
sourced mainly from Namibia, Zimbabwe & Zambia, it operates as a
supplier to art shops & retailers worldwide. Being specialized in
wholesale, Oa Hera Art cc cannot supply any customer with any order
which amount is less than €1100.00 (except decision from Oa Hera Art
management) packing & transport costs being too high for smaller
orders.
Taking
back of goods :
Customers
are encouraged to ask as much information as needed from Oa Hera Art cc
representatives before ordering any product. Exceptions apart no
products will be taken back by Oa Hera Art cc. Any delivery mistake made
by Oa Hera Art cc must be reported within 7 working days following the
date of delivery, in such cases Oa Hera Art cc representatives will take
back the wrong products or suggest the customer to send the items back
at costs for Oa Hera Art cc.
Materials:
Certain
materials such as wood (which needs to be dried for some time before
being carved) must be prepared before being used, these materials can
deteriorate (like wood cracking) after a certain time if the preparation
process has not been properly followed by the artist, although Oa Hera
Art cc is aware of the fact and the representatives do their best to
select items which seem to have followed the right preparation process,
Oa Hera Art cc or representatives cannot be held responsible for any
item which would deteriorate after purchase because of such lack of
preparation.
Delivery
:
The
standard timeframe for any order preparation is about 3 weeks (depending
on order volume), this period is for Oa Hera Art duties such as product
preparation, packing insuring, transport to freight company. The average
timeframe for freight transport is 7-10 working days but can be longer
due to any unexpected delay. Oa Hera Art cannot be held responsible for
any transport delay.
Responsibility:
The
customer, by confirming any order accepts the conditions of sale as set
out above and benefits from a delay of 7 working days to withdraw his
order if he wishes. The customer acknowledges that in case of litigation
Oa Hera Art cc will only consider claims which involve the company’s
direct responsibility, but will not accept any responsibility for
actions, damage, prejudice which would be the consequence of any third
party (person or company) partner of Oa Hera Art cc. Any litigation case
to be opened & held in Namibian courts.
